01Agreement

Using this site means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not place an order. These terms are between you and KeyScope, the store that runs this site.

We may change these terms. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the site after that constitutes acceptance. The date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.

02What we sell

KeyScope is a marketplace for digital game accounts. Each listing states what is being transferred: either permanent ownership of an account, or time-limited access to one. The product page is the authoritative description, nothing said in chat, Discord or marketing copy overrides it.

We are an independent reseller. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve, Facepunch, Embark Studios, Battlestate Games, Bohemia Interactive, Electronic Arts or any other publisher or platform.

03Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher. You must have the legal capacity to enter a contract, and the laws that apply to you must not bar you from receiving our services.

04Publisher terms and the risk you accept

This is the most important section on this page. Read it before you buy.

Transferring, selling or sharing an account conflicts with the terms of service of most games and platforms, including Steam. A publisher may suspend, restrict or permanently close an account for that reason alone, independently of anything you do with it.

You accept that risk when you buy. Our warranty covers the account failing to log in or being reclaimed inside the stated window, it does not, and cannot, protect you from a publisher enforcing its own rules. Do not spend more than you are willing to lose.

05Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use the site to launder funds, or pay with a card or wallet you are not authorised to use
  • Resell, redistribute or sublicense an account without our written permission
  • Attempt to reverse a payment after taking delivery of working credentials
  • Scrape, probe, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site
  • Abuse, threaten or harass our staff or other customers on any channel we operate

We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, and may close your access to the site and its community channels for breach of this section.

06Orders, pricing and delivery

Prices are shown in US dollars. Other currencies displayed on the site are converted for your convenience at an indicative rate. Orders are paid in crypto, or from a KeyScope balance: checkout converts the US dollar total into the coin you pick. Some coins carry a network fee, shown beside the coin and included in the total before you place the order, and your wallet's own fee for sending comes on top.

An order is accepted when payment confirms, not when it is submitted; one paid from a balance is paid the moment it is placed. A crypto order has to be paid within six hours of being placed, and its amount is fixed until then. Credentials are released to your order page automatically once the payment is confirmed and checked. An item the product page marks as on request is delivered once it is in stock, either on your order page or by support on Discord, as your order page says. An order over $200 paid in crypto, or one our checks cannot clear on their own, is checked by hand first, which usually takes less than a day. A crypto payment that arrives more than 5% short leaves the order waiting for the rest until its pay-by time; after that, support checks what arrived and adds it to your KeyScope balance. If a listing was mispriced or the stock has gone, we may cancel the order and add what you paid to your KeyScope balance instead of fulfilling it.

Secure every account as soon as it is delivered. Delay is the single most common cause of a lost account, and it is not covered by the warranty.

07Accounts and balance

An account is optional: you can buy as a guest. If you make one, keep its password to yourself, because you are responsible for what is done with it. We never email you, so a forgotten password is reset through support once you have shown the account is yours.

A balance is store credit in US dollars. It is added to by top-ups paid in crypto and by credit for anything we could not deliver, and it is spent at checkout. It cannot be withdrawn, moved to another account or exchanged for cash or crypto, and a top-up is not refunded. A top-up is credited with the US dollar value that arrives, up to a little over the amount it was started for. Anything beyond that, and anything that arrives after its address closed, six hours after the top-up was started, is checked by hand before it is added. Money that would take an account or the store past its daily limit waits and is added by itself once the limit allows, or sooner if support releases it.

08Warranty

You choose a warranty window for each item on the product page before you buy: the shortest is included in the price and a longer one costs more, and once the item is delivered your order page shows how long is left. Inside that window, we will replace an account that cannot be logged into with the credentials supplied, or that is reclaimed by its previous holder.

The warranty does not cover a publisher ban, a suspension caused by how the account is used after delivery, a change you make to the credentials, or loss of access because you did not secure the account. Where no replacement is available, the value goes onto your KeyScope balance as store credit; there are no refunds. The refund policy has the detail.

09Intellectual property

The KeyScope name, logo, site design, copy and code belong to KeyScope. Game names, logos and artwork referenced on this site belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the products being sold.

10Disclaimer of warranties

Except for the express warranty stated above, the site and everything sold through it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the site is limited to the amount you paid us for the order that claim relates to.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost progress, lost in-game items or the value of an account closed by its publisher.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations or the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section and the one above may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

12Indemnity

You agree to indemnify KeyScope against any claim, loss or cost arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of an account bought here, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site and its community channels at any time for breach of these terms. Termination does not affect orders already delivered, or statutory rights already accrued.

14Disputes

If something about an order or these terms goes wrong, raise it with support on Discord first: most problems are settled there, and the refund policy says what a claim can lead to. Nothing in these terms removes a mandatory consumer protection that the law where you live gives you.

15Contact

Everything goes to support on Discord: a question about an order or about these terms, and a copyright or takedown notice alike. Open a ticket there, with the order ID if it is about an order. The support page has the same link.
